Kendriya Vidyalayas are autonomous bodies affiliated to CBSE and run by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi. The Kendriya Vidyalayas by and large have become pace setting institution in evolving a National pattern of education with their uniform syllabus and standardized books giving fillip to the modern trend of education. Each Vidyalaya is a miniature India aimed at inculcating a feeling of patriotism, Brotherhood and National Integration among the students. Kendriya Vidyalayas prepare students for A.I.S.S.E. and AISSE Examinations conducted by Central Board of secondary Education New Delhi.

Our mision
KVS has a four fold mission viz:-
- To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education.
- To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
- To initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc.
- To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness” among children.
